Since I was a kid mum and I have always talked about visiting London together. I think it probably began when I was first introduced to Les Miserables, and later the musical Cats. We would listen to the songs in the car and mummy and I would talk about going and visiting London. I think its quite sweet that the journey was made when I got married. I love that she came over for the reception we held in London, and spent some really treasured time with me.

What would I do without that lady? She is incredible. I don't know any like her, someone that is so willing to give of herself. Someone that truly taught me that doing hard things that are right, will always turn out better that taking the easy way out. Looking back, mum is the one that taught me to love. I see the great love she has for my dad and the way she loves us, her children. Things were not always easy when falling in love with Jared, but I knew he was the one when mum and dad first Facetimed him. Even from thousands of miles I could tell he belonged. I could see he belonged in the way he loved me and the way I loved him. Our love reminds me of all the wonderful examples of lovers I have in my life.
Mom is already missed, we enjoyed what she added to the dynamics of our family, and we truly treasured her time with us. We are both really looking forward to Annie and Ollie visiting next year!
