Manor Road, West Ealing
On Friday 10 May 2014 we signed the papers and put down our
deposit for our first home. It was quite a journey getting the this place set
in stone. Jared registered us with what seemed like a hundred or so different
agencies. Having done this a time or two before, and it always being quite a
nightmare, we decided an agency was the best option. We knew we wanted to rent,
and having our own space was a must.
Jared worked a lot of shifts that were inconvenient for our
realtors, so most of the time I would end up going alone. We ended up using
Foxtons, they were the only ones that were good about getting back to me and
scheduling flats to view. Our lovely realtor Sophie (it’s in the name) was
determined to find us somewhere we thought was perfect! After putting in MANY
offers this beautiful flat near West Ealing Train Station opened up!
The Flat is perfect for the two of us, being a one bedroom flat,
compared to a studio, it will be just right for entertaining guests! Ealing
common, located only a short distance away, will be lovely to go to on nice
sunny afternoons. I am looking forward to using our large kitchen and watching
films in our furnished living room. Most of all I am looking forward to having
all this space to ourselves! This will be the first time either of us have ever
lived completely without family or flatmates. But even more important than that
this will be the first time it’s just us newlyweds!
